What Your Day to Day Looks Like
Infrastructure Implementation
Designing and deploying infrastructure, dockerizing applications, building deployment pipelines, setting up CI/CD workflows.
Monitoring & Observability
Implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions and maintaining system visibility.
Alerting & Incident Response
Creating alerting systems for clients. On-call responsibilities are client-specific and compensated separately.
Documentation
Writing clear technical documentation and runbooks for clients and internal teams.
Knowledge Sharing
Mentoring team members and transferring expertise to client teams.
Problem Solving & Project Ownership
Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, optimizing performance, and taking full responsibility for deliverables from planning through implementation.
Client Collaboration
Daily/weekly coordination calls and sprint planning with client teams as applicable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Nobody's perfect (not even us!), so don't worry if you don't tick every box. We're more interested in your problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to keep our coffee machine running than a perfect resume match. If you've got solid experience with most of these and the curiosity to master the rest, we'll teach you everything else you need to know.
Core Infrastructure
- Production experience with AWS or GCP
- Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Ansible for automation
- Proxmox virtualization
Databases & Systems
- MySQL, PostgreSQL (performance tuning, HA)
- Redis, RabbitMQ
- Expert Linux administration
- Bash and Python scripting
Security & Network
- Server hardening and lockdown procedures
- CDN and WAF implementations
- Strong networking fundamentals
- Security best practices
Blockchain / Web3 (Major Bonus)
- Blockchain node infrastructure
- dApp hosting requirements
- Web3 security considerations
Experience Requirements
3+ years DevOps engineering in production environments
Proven track record of implementing infrastructure projects
Experience with CI/CD pipeline architecture
Strong communication and mentorship skills
